چکیده
Northeast China (NEC) is a region sensitive to climate change. However, the adoption of long-season maize cultivars in NEC has caused substantial yield increase under change conditions. It important determine whether such cultivar adoptions are effective throughout whole sustainably grain yield. In this study, phenological observations and meteorological data at six sites from 1981 2018 were used detect thermal time (TT) trends during growing period. TT, as parameter for measuring changes cultivars, was crop simulation model CERES-Maize examine variations produced with different × combinations decades. NEC, both TTs emergence anthesis physiological maturity showed significant increasing 2018. Simulation results humid areas revealed that adopting longer-season 2000–2018 increases, ranging 6.3% 13.3%, compared 1980s. stations semi-humid areas, decrease or small (from −12.7% 8.0%) when adopted 2000–2018. For decreasing ratios rainfed no water-stress (Yrainfed/Yno water-stress) lower Yrainfed/Yno values indicated sensitivity production water, which attributed TT precipitation. Our indicate that, area, limited by water after introducing higher requirement Therefore, securing food supplies will depend on increases water-use efficiency levels other adaptive strategies, varietal diversification, drought-resistant varieties, conservation tillage irrigation.

Regional climate change scenarios and their impacts on water requirements for wheat production in Iran
We simulate the effect of climate change on water requirements of cold seasonwheat in various climatic zones of Iran. The research considers both observedclimate (temperature and precipitation) changes during recent decades (1960-2009)based on instrumental records and projected future changes to 2100 based on theMAGICC/SCENGEN 5.3 compound model. 20 General Circulation models are usedbased on a...

Abstract Effects of water stress on root and leaf growth rates and their relationships with yield under normal and water stress conditions were examined at the Greenhouse and Research Field of Faculty of Agriculture, Kerman University, Iran, using seven maize cultivars including SC-404, SC-704, BC-666, TC-647, DC-370, Jeta and Kordona. During a period of 14 days, water stress at -0.4 MPa was ...
متن کاملAnalysis of Maize Yield under Climate Change, Adaptations in Varieties and Planting Date in Northeast China in Recent Thirty Years
The Northeast China (NEC) was the most important agriculture areas and known as the Golden-Maize-Belt. Based on observed crop data and crop model, we design four simulating experiments and separate relative impacts and contribution under climate change, planting date shift, and varieties change as well change of varieties and planting date. Without planting date and varieties change, maize yiel...
متن کاملMaize (Zea Mays L.) Growth and Yield Response to Ethephon Application under Water Stress Conditions
The aim of the present investigation was to study the growth, yield and yield components of maize (Zea mays L.) single cross 704 under different levels of irrigation, plant density, and ethephon in southern Iran where this particular crop has not yet been studied in detail. A field experiment was performed in the 2004 5 growing season at the experimental farm of the College of Agriculture, Shir...
